Knoxville Tennessee Extended Family Photographer

For the first time in six years, every member of my large extended family was home for Christmas! My husband is the oldest of six kids, and as soon as his mom realized every last child and grandchild was going to be in town this year, she asked if I could take a picture when everyone was together.

There was a last-minute hiccup when one of the grandkids-in-law ended up flying to be with his family on the day the other out-of-town family members were set to arrive, but we quickly determined to go forward with the plan, and pose him in the same area later on and photoshop him in, we couldn't pass up this chance!

It was a cold December afternoon as we gathered everyone first on the front porch, and then over in the field, with the family farm in the background. I knew the younger kids (and some of the older "kids" :)) wouldn't last long, so I quickly set up the tripod, adjusted my camera's settings, and set it to take 10 continuous pictures. I'm so happy I did, because both locations required multiple head swaps in photoshop to get everyone looking and smiling haha!

A few days later, I returned to our photo spots and snapped pictures of the one missing grandkid to add in as well, and the whole extended family was complete! (Can you guess who I added in later?)

Once we got the whole group pictures done, all of the ladies decided to linger awhile longer and take some more pictures together on the porch steps. I've included the outtakes along with the picture perfect ones for your amusement.
